Who are these TESOL qualifications for?

The GA TESOL qualifications are designed to provide learners with high quality, regulated qualifications with which they can embark upon, or progress within, a career involving teaching English to speakers of other languages. TESOL covers teaching English anywhere, even in majority English-speaking countries like the UK, the USA, Canada and Australia. TESOL can lead to a variety of roles, including freelance teacher, working as a teacher in a school or college, or supporting language learners remotely and online.

The GA TESOL qualifications have an emphasis on the use of technology in teaching English. Level 3 TESOL consists of an introduction to TESOL, with Level 5 aimed at candidates who require a higher level qualification to meet the needs of a higher level or more independent teaching role.

Through these qualifications, learners will study: The Principles of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, ESOL Learners and the ESOL Classroom, Teaching Vocabulary, Teaching Grammar, Teaching Receptive Skills: Listening and Reading, Teaching Productive Skills: Speaking and Writing, Teaching English for Specific Purposes and Career Planning and Professional Development in TESOL.

Using Technology in Traditional and Online Classes, and Student Assessment,

Evaluation and Feedback.
